Statist Ethics (TEST POST 1)

Statist ethics have tampered the concept of collectivism & the broader idea of social cohesion; it lacks the characteristic that says individuals are with desires to collectivize all under their agency, replacing it with a false understanding of collectivism that bounds individuals as a singular entity. It draws from its other characteristic which protects the continuity of the statist model; it doesn’t require a mechanism where it incentivizes its justification meaning it owes no responsibility to its stakeholder (citizens).

It also draws from another characteristic that it’s the natural conclusion of governance. It isn’t a coincidence that the statist model benefited from the Industrial Revolution. It was ideal that elites could coordinate taxes, workers, industries and law with the new scaling the revolution provided.

It didn’t occur to the populace that polycentric law could’ve been possible now that smaller populations could self-sustain; the statist model thus feels natural.

Statist ethics ties everything into its final characteristic: externalized blame for failure.

This heavily depends on the collectivism characteristic to diffuse every point-of-failure across the populace. You aren’t an individual that is seeking resolution amongst the collective. You are instead abstracted within statist institutions as an aggregate; aggregates that failed to negotiate within the statist model.

This makes failure non-attributable and impossible to point to a single actor. History is filled with diffused conflicts that emerged from the statist model forcing populations to blame themselves. Nothing ever gets resolved and nothing ever holds the statist model accountable.
